Ahhh Christmas Time

I love this time of year! the lights, trees, food, friends and family. I am not going to get on a rant about the Holidays or lack thereof. I would like to just say that Silo Cigars has been blessed with some of the greatest customers in the world. From the deployed Military guys to the locals that stop in every day or so, you guys make this all worth it.

Starting a cigar business in this economic climate and with looming tax legislation (schip) was a risk but with the support of our customers we have been successful. I have always felt that the business should be catered around what the customers want and we listen. The main topics were lower prices, better boutique cigar brands, lifetime warranty cigar accessories, great coffee and a inviting place to sit and smoke. I believe we have done just that and we are always open to suggestions so if you have 1 or 5 let us know lol. Now back to the Christmas Time


The weather is turning colder and it is starting to feel like Christmas time. (hell Vegas got almost 4" of snow, can we get just a little?) At the store we say Merry Christmas instead of Happy Holidays, why? well because we can!! and it is Christmas. We do not feed in to the whole PC vibe that most major stores do and we will always be ourselves. I hope I see the majority of our friends before Christmas but if not, please have a great and safe Christmas!!! I will be enjoying the time with my family in Cookeville on Christmas morning having our traditional family Christmas breakfast!! followed with a awesome cigar with the men folk.

Humidors, Cutters and other Cigar Gear

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!! I ate WAY to Much and still have a ton of left overs. I just now got time to sit down and start blogging again and I hope I can find more time soon for it. Holidays and Cigars

Well Thanksgiving is almost on us (already!) but before you start deep frying/smoking or baking the ole birds take a little time to be with those you love.

I recently re-stocked my rum and beer selection from some buddys on the boards and a pal from the local B&M. I love sitting down and sipping some Zaya or Zacapa 23 while enjoying a great cigar. Busy Busy Busy

Well it has been a CRAZY week and we are proud to announce "We are Moving". Yep we have finally taken the next step in retail and moved to a better location. Our grand opening is the 24th-31st of this month. We will kick things off with a Cigar Rolling event by El Titan de Bronze, they will be rolling the Redemption and a unique Sudeste Cigar in store all day the 24th and 25th. Specials pricing and hand rolled cigars will be had by all, I am going to list the events later on this post for everyone to see. The Launch of Sudeste Cigars

The wait is over!!! the launch of Sudeste Cigars happened today and man has it been crazy. We got in the final part of our shipment today and was finally able to post them online and introduce them to the world. We had 3 of the 7 sizes sitting in our humidor just waiting for the others to arrive and boom they dropped like a bomb today. I am so happy that we can share these cigars with our customers, I feel this is one of the best cigars I have ever been involved with and I can't wait to hear what everyone has to say about them. I have been smoking the Sudeste cigars for months now and have to say it is in my everyday category for cigars. I may be biased but this is one helluva cigar! Nice full flavor with a generous amount of spice on the tongue make this blend a winner. Considering these are rolled in Little Havana Miami the prices, construction and bands are awesome. Most would expect to pay $8.00-$10.00 for these and unlike most "House Brands" these actually have a range of sizes. Overall I can't say enough about this cigar and project. Let me know what you guys think.
